About Us

Mark Phillips is a dynamic singer-songwriter living on and drawing inspiration from the coast of Maine. Originally from southeastern Pennsylvania, Mark now revels in the natural beauty of all Maine has to offer.

People who have heard Mark might describe his music as a bluesy infusion of Arlo Guthrie and Tom Petty. He might perform a folk standard one minute and be swinging a Ray LaMontagne cover the next, followed by a good 'ole irish drinkin' song. The stories he tells about his roots-driven originals are captivating, or at least he thinks so, and the songs are pretty good, too.

Aside from making music, Mark spends his time sailing, fixing all things mechanical, and enjoying nature, preferably on the water or on a bike but hiking happens pretty regularly as well. His chainsaw's name is Wolfgang, pronounced Volfgang.
